I want to plastidip my stock wheels green (yes, GREEN). My questions are,
1. do you think blue car with green rims will look ok? (going for the subbie look) 2. any special prep need to be done, other that washing and alcohol wiping the rims? 3. how easy is it to remove plastidip in case I dont like it? 4. any special tips/tricks for working with plastidip? Example pic : http://www.stanceiseverything.com/wp...tedwheels9.jpg

2. Nope. Are you going to leave them on while dipping or take them off? Leaving them on is easier. Just make sure you mask the brakes. 3. Remember putting glue on your palm, waiting for it to dry, and then peeling it off? It's just like that! 4. Make sure you use even strokes and TAKE YOUR TIME. Allow 10-15 minutes between coats and make sure you have enough space between you and what you're dipping. DipYourCarcom's channel - YouTube <--- great resource!

Thanks! Ill have to look at the video at lunch. I plan on taking the wheels off and just using tape and index cards to mask the tire off.

Trust me, many pics will be there if/when I get to do it. Another question, anyone know where they sell the green plastidip? I saw ace, home depot, lowes, etc. on their dealer list, but don't know if they carry the colored plastidip as well.

2. Be patient. Cover everything. Worse part would be having green flakes everywhere. 3. Pretty easy. Just peeled off when I worked on my car. 4. Have a remover ready just in case you get something on your car, it's really easy to clean when it's still wet. Also, it can take a while to dry -- so be patient (#2) -- I had a small fan blowing on low to help speed up my process. The fan didn't mess anything up for me.
