Discrepancies with 5dr GL and GLS

So I havent exactly bought my Accent yet, because I notice discrepancies in the brochure and the Canadian website, and with what I have been told. The Accent GL 5 Door says it has options including the front heated seats and I was told the bluetooth was available in the GL model.

Can anyone confirm which model of the 2013 5dr GL or GLS (both Automatic) actually has these options. Is the additional charges worth it, if the dealer is not willing to lower the price?

Welcome to the forum! I don't know know the answer to your questions since US options are much different, but I saw you were new here and wanted to say hi.

I can tell you that I love the bluetooth feature of my Elantra and I highly recommend it. It's safe and convenient.

Can't remember for sure, but I think only gls has Bluetooth. One of the reasons I went for it. That and the leather wheel etc. Plastic ones felt too cheap.

Only the GLS has Bluetooth.. If you go to Hyundai Canada's Accent info page the info there is accurate. If you select the GL, no bluetooth is shown in the interior features.. It appears if you select GLS.

I hope the website is up-to-date and truly accurate, I guess the brochure is out dated or has errors.

They've been paying attention to the site.. They did change the claimed mileage to the lower number. I did a Google search for the Canadian Accent brochure for 2013 and it shows the same thing. Only the GLS gets Bluetooth. http://www.hyundaicanada.com/Content/PDF/ACCENT_en.pdf

Oh.. And accentgls5... A little off topic.. But just to settle a question that was asked on another thread.... The 2013 GLS has auto AC (Only manual AC was offered in the 2012 GLS

) It appears that only cars with auto AC have an outside temperature reading on the dash computer display... Does your 2013 GLS have this feature??

It was the front heated seats, that the brochure says is included and the website says its not in the GL. I guess I would be ordering the GLS model this week... thanks the help guys

I just bought my Canadian GLS 5 door in September. Both the GL and GLS have the two-stage heated seats. The extra money for the GLS is going towards (but may not be limited to):

- Upgraded cloth seats and leather steering wheel and leather shifter knob
- Bluetooth
- 16" alloy wheels (compared to 14" steelies and hubcaps)
- Power sunroof

For me, it was the combination of bluetooth AND sunroof that made me spend a little extra (plus I got the dealer to meet me half way on the price diffference from GL to GLS

)

I've got a 2013 Accent 5dr GL and it does in fact HAVE heated front seats. personally i was OK with not getting anything "fancy" so there wasn't much reason for me to go to the GLS
