Yes, tried one tank with it off and mileage dropped, IIRC half a mile per gallon. Next step is to switch to synthetic oil.

Every tank for me over 14k has been 49-51 avg mph, mpg was at 36 mpg until winter blend fuel dropped to 34. My avg. mph is good, but does not account for any city driving I do or the fact that I am pushing 80 mph for about 14 miles of my commute daily. Throw out my highs and lows and I would be hitting 40! But that just wouldn't be any fun. LOL

Hey Guys I need your advice. I have a 2012 Accent 6 months ago, and lately the fuel Consumption is around (18Mpg), Is there something wrong with my car?

Join the club! After 6 months of ownership and over 12,000 km on the odometer, my Accent has yet to impress me on the mileage side.

I run 73-75 mph on the highway and zero the trip computer of mileage & avg mpg each fill up which has been about 37-38 on the trip computer & 35 or so calculating the fill up by hand. Overall mph is 52. The car has just over 2000 mi & it has done this from 50 mi when I bought it. Eco is on all the time
