Yes

Leave it off, you'll find the car more driveable.

I only use it on the highway...restricts the cars power band so i don't like to use it around town in case i need power quickly.

I leave it off and don't lose any mpg in the city. Did a full eco-off tank and managed 39mpg 80% highway. And now I don't get distracted by the constant suggested-gear indicator that 99% of the time wants me in a higher gear.

I left it on for my initial tank and a half of gas then turned it off and left it off. Found my MPGs are with 1.5 MPG both minus and plus with it off but the car drives much better and the A/C seems cooler. I don't think the thing has any bearing on MPGs, at least not for my driving habits.
I think unless I'm on a trip where I'm on the interstate 100% of the time I'm gonna leave it off and forget it's even there...

Are you talking about the Eco button or the Caps Lock thing?

Sorry, that Caps Lock remark might have come across as rude by us, but it wasn't meant as a personal insult. My apologies for my part.

Normally, it is common to caps lock when you need to yell about something on a forum. Therefore, some people consider it rude. Personally, I don't mind either way, but rattlecanned just lined it up to your original post quite succinctly, so it gave me a chuckle.

If you are talking about the eco button, there's quite a few pages you can search that have some great info here:

Hyundai Forums search Eco Mode

We just ran a tank with the eco off for the whole tank. Gas consumption was definitely up. Filled up a couple of nights ago and we're now leaving the eco button on all the time. Still trying to figure out how to get better mileage out of this thing, other than selling it! This tank: eco on, trying Shell regular gas. Next tank will be Shell super (no ethanol in it).
