I find that my MPG is always a lot higher than the MPG sticker, although I generally drive at 65-70 MPH. cheers.

I'm curious as to what your fuel mapping, etc is like. Maybe those averaging more than the sticker mpg may have been tuned differently from the factory. What month was your accent built? Mine was April |

Yeah, us too. Too much city driving, and we tend to use our roomier Civic or even roomier truck for longer trips.
Re the Yaris, my DW says she likes it better than the Accent. She feels the build quality is better than the Accent and the rearward sight lines much better. I think the Yaris does have a solid feel to it but the interior design isn't as good as the Accent, IMO. In fact, I'd say it's a lame design and not inspired like the Accent. So far it's doing better on mileage than the Accent but only marginally. We haven't even run thru a full tank on it yet since we've had a lot of snow and it doesn't have snow tires on it, so it's the last car chosen. I should call the body shop and see how the repairs on the Accent are coming along... |

Ok, I have ragged my bad mpg so it's due time to say the car drives fantastic. I have never been more please at how it's the perfect city car in feel. Small on the outside but feels big inside.

Keep us posted on the milage of the Yaris. I've talked with a buddy of mine who owns a manual Honda Fit and he does better but not from that much. I don't recall the numbers he gave me but from top of my head, it was not that impressive. But I keep reading the +40mpg some here gets and I'm way way far from this. Quote:
![]() Anyway, the Accent is mostly my daily driver and the Jeep is for fun, snow storms, family trips (more room) and adventure on the weekends... |

I just bought a 2013 Accent and got 36.4 on my first tank. Its the winter here, I'm pretty happy with the results. Much better MPG then my "fun car" where I'm happy if I break into the double digits with premium lol.
