Philips screwdriver with a fairly long driving end. There are slots behind the headlight housing that are marked for up-down adjustment and left-right adjustment. If I get a chance, I'll try to post a picture later.

Hey Northey! Have you actually tried to adjust your beams yourself? Well I just did and I can tell you all right now that there is no adjustment screws. I tried messing with both screws in what you have posted here and neither did anything. I can also say that if these were the adjustment screws you would need a right angle attachment to a driver or manual right angle to do this. Not to mention the fact that both screws are now "stripped" due to the lack of quality. The dealership told me that there are no adjustment screws on this car and 1 time in a million they were correct. Guess we live with it or get after market housings.

On my SE, there is a "gear" that can be turned by inserting the screwdriver as shown in the instructions. Whats strange is that i can adjust it up or down but when i insert it for the left /right adjustment, it is non-functional.

Well i got my lights adjusted just fine with a phillips screw driver and the side to side adjustment there is no teeth in the adjuster so you cant adjust it. But both adjusters have a hex head bost so i am going to try and adjust the side to side with that instead. Ill let you know if it works or not.

Nope, never had a reason to. That PDF came straight from the shop manual on Hyundai's HMA service site. https://www.hyundaitechinfo.com/
