Unless someone beats me to it, I can work on a DIY with pictures for it.
Thanks a DIY or even a complete part list (clamp sizes etc) would be very helpful

Everything he listed has a generic size and comes with the hardware u need I would just get one more coupler 3" to 3" because the clamp on the vaccum adapter I couldn't get to tighten enough personally. this coming week I may buy the stuff and put it all together with mounts to fit in the stock bolt locations (weld brackets to the piping) and perhaps if there is enough interest I would make a few "kits"

I know it's only been a day, but I'll be interested in hearing what kind of effect this has on your efficiency.

I'm also using a Spectre cone, except I popped off the stock air box and filter, slipped the cone over the existing piping and secured with a 3" clamp.

Took about 5 minutes.

Smart! was thinking about that myself. Any1 know how much of a performance/result difference you would see from keeping stock piping vs changing it all over?

Also Wylldshark how does it sound?

Thanks!

Changing it over to metal piping will help cool the air as it passes through the intake, which in turn will give a boost in power.

I've already noticed the pep in acceleration, the sound is quite nice outside the car; a nice, low, growl - not that obnoxious ricer fart sound. Inside the car is LOUD! Idling sounds just like stock, as does low speeds, but as noted before, once you hit the gas "VRRMMMMMMMM" it goes.

Being such a simple "mod", I'm going to drive a few days and see if I get used to the sound, if not I'll pop the cone off and convert back to the stock filter.

So far throttle responce is better, an the car seems more peppier when starting from a stop.

Also, the engine is MUCH louder. I had the OEM SRI on my '08 Accent and was used to that, but this sounds much louder, so much so that the accelerator, steering wheel and driver seat actually vibrate noticably. The rear view mirror also vibrates from the noise, to the point that the image is distorted slightly in the same way that happens when I have the stereo cranked up with high bass music.

When idle or cruising there is no extra noise at all, and even if you accelerate very slowly it emits no additional noise. But as soon as you give it a little more gas it starts to growl to life and tends to sound rather aggressive, though does sound a tad bit ricey. Have already had quite a few people do a double take at my car when they hear it, mostly those with their modded Hondas
Is there any way you can put a link to all of the parts from the o'reilly website and make a video of how to install it? That would help a lot.
