So one of my good friends started doing custom stereo installs about a year ago and when I bought my wife her Elantra, I knew it had to have his touch. This was his first attempt at fiberglass, and I think it came out perfect. Anyways, on to the pics!!
If anyone is in the Austin area, get at this guy - marble@jasonmarbledesigns.com This is his site - Jason Marble Designs (JMD) Here it is all complete... ![]() image (6) by wolf18t, on Flickr ![]() image (7) by wolf18t, on Flickr ![]() image (4) by wolf18t, on Flickr Even got a sticker out of the deal!! The install looks great! Well done!
I haven't had a spare since I bought my 1st Elantra. I'm beginning to question the need...which is probably the one thing I shouldn't do. Even when I picked up a nail, the TPMS alerted me prior to it becoming a real problem. In defense of my Canadian brothers, our highways (for the most part) aren't too bad. City streets are a different story. I attempt to avoid those whenever possible.

Forgoing a spare tire is just not wise. I know it doesn't come with one, but the smart thing to do is buy one. The repair kit only works for small punctures in the tread. It won't repair sidewall damage and sure won't repair a blow out.
To each his own, but have fun waiting on the side of the road for a tow truck. I'm sure your wife will appreciate that. |
