Got the Elantra tinted today!

Hi everyone, this is actually my second post. I forgot the username and password that I originally posted about my car under

. Anyway I had an airbag issue with my 2012 that resulted in me having my lawyer create a letter with an intent to file a lawsuit against Hyundai and they ended up giving me this beauty to stay out of court

. She's a 2013 Elantra GLS with 4,710 miles on her. I just got her tinted today by TKO Customizing in St. Joseph, MI for $200. The guy is awesome and has done my other vehicles as well. It's 5% on the back window and doors, 20% on the front doors, and 35% on the windshield. It's not as dark as the pictures lead it to be and you can see out no problem at all.

Looks good! I just installed new speakers but I plan to get mine tined in the next month or so.

Holy that's so dark... you'll get pulled over by a cop in an instant where I live! Looks sexy though! What happened with your airbag... I ask this cause I have a 2012 model...hmm

Thanks for the comments everyone. I passed a couple of state and county cops on the way home and didn't have any issues. I've had a few cars in the past that I had 5% all around including the windshield and never got pulled over either!

The airbag light would come on and off at random, it was an issue with the airbag harness apparently. They had the car at the dealership for 72 days with no ETA of when it would be repaired.

That looks great!

You wouldn't last very long in Florida without getting stopped with tint on the whole windshield and most shops wouldn't do, but it sure looks cool.

I didn't think there was any state in the US that allowed tint on the entire front windshield.

Would you be willing to take more pictures of the various tint levels individually?

I have a white GLS and can't decide if between 5 all the way to
35.

If not its cool but it would help my decision alot

and it's hard to tell the difference in your pics
