Default "Passenger Air Bag Off" Illuminated?

Based on searching it looks like on older Elantra's this would always display when driving solo but I've only had the car 3 days and I never noticed this before. Will this like be on and orange whenever I don't have a passenger?

You wont even notice it after a while. In the meantime electrical tape would cover it nicely if it really bugs you.

Didn't we just have a thread about this?

It's not brighter than the amber defrost, seat heater lights and such...

If you don't like it that much, you can always put something heavy in the pass. seat. Then you might have to buckle it too, though, because of a seatbelt reminder flash.

There is no seatbelt reminder for the passenger seat.

If you put a brick in the seat, I doubt the insurance company will pay for replacing the passenger airbags...
