Default My clock creeps

My digital clock on the dash runs fast. Every month it gains 2 to 3 minutes compared with my cell phone and I have to adjust it. Anyone else have this issue?

First time I've heard this. I would ask my dealer if a warranty claim would replace the clock...or, at least tweak the +/- adjustment (if there is one).

Better to arrive early for work than late, right?

It would be smart if it could sync with the satellites (via XM or Bluelinik) or with your cellphone via bluetooth.

This is a somewhat common problem. My last two Sonata's did the same thing. My Elantra doesn't, but that is because I have the Nav and it is linked to satelite. Not sure why it happens but every couple months (when it was about 10 minutes fast) I would set it back to the right time. My wife's Entourage on the other hand has never had an issue.

Mine is fine but I have read this complaint in other sections of this forum. I believe the 3 year warranty for stereo and electronics covers clock too.

The clock on the nav systems are set via satellite.

My 2002 Elantra had this problem, except I was probably more like 4-6 minutes off a month. I ended up buying an aftermarket Deck with a clock and ignoring the in dash clock :P

Still have no clue what caused this though. Sorry.

Another data point for you. I have a 2011 GLS without NAV and my clock matches my cell phone (not connected to the car) all the time.

I can't say about my Elantra, but in my Leaf, the dash clock is independent from the nav system clock, and I made a very concerted effort to get them as closely matched as possible when daylight savings hit. Now, they are no longer in sync, as the dash one is slightly faster than the nav one.
