Hi guys,
i have this post linked from the Novaline thread since we were conversing about different floormats. But I thought it would merit its own thread since its a completely different brand. I ended up getting these since my aunt wanted a set too and the seller gave me a deal buying two sets. they only came in black, and they installed in minutes. the rear is one piece. and they do curl up on the sides to offer some additional coverage. I paid about $140 with shipping and COD. ![]() Drivers side ![]() IMG_2173 by BoyDrone, on Flickr Passenger side ![]() IMG_2175 by BoyDrone, on Flickr Rear ![]() IMG_2176 by BoyDrone, on Flickr |

I forgot to mention that in the first post. Thank you. you have the option of cutting out the gas/truck release levers. But I decided to not cut it out, since salt and grime in those areas would be a pain to clean. it isnt that hard to access them without a cutout. just raise and release. I prefer to leave this all covered since the winter salt and snow isnt very kind. ![]() But all in all. I really appreciate the fact that they had left that part there for the consumer to cutout as an option if they wanted to. |

Hi Frogurt,
its hard to say since we havent compared them side by side. I would imagine I would see the guys this year at a car meet or two to do a side by side comparison. But the notes I have for the Husky mats are: 1) Material is hard and rigid, can flex, but with force (sturdy rugged material, but kind of slippery) 2) Nice cutout option for Trunk/Gas door latch 3) Rear floormat is one piece for Husky, two overlapping pieces for Novaline 4) the height of the floormat is roughly 2.5", but I can measure if this matters greatly I havent owned or have seen the Novaline mats first hand, so I cant say much about it. overall, it is both price/quality driven for me. I just prefer mats that curl up around the perimeter. |

I like these.
Lol, did any of you who have installed these mats hear your music change in any way shape or form (ie louder, different, more diffussed, etc)? Lol....this is my inner geek questioning. Most often when you remove a surface, like carpetted floor mats which will absord some sounds/frequencies, and replace it with a more reflective material, then you may hear an audible change in music or general cabin noise for either the better or worse.....so, just curious |

that's a good question, and considering physics, it makes sense for it to work. but I would think the audible difference would go unnoticed to the human ear. I didnt hear much of a difference at all to be honest. just a cleaner look
