Default Pete & Repeat

Pete & Repeat are in an Elantra. Pete gets out. Who's left?

Ok but no really. I want to see who is on their 2nd or 3rd Elantra, or who is H4L (Hyundai for Life!)

If this is not your first Elantra, what keeps you coming back?

If you're only going to buy Elantras or stick with Hyundai from here on out, tell us why!

I am only 3,600 miles in to my Hyundai Experience, and I'm still in the honeymoon phase, so my opinion doesn't count just yet!

**** I just saw a Pony yesterday actually, first one I've seen in years! I can't believe they're actually still some running on the roads, I have a friend and when he was 16-25 or do and he'd had 9 Pony's by then he swore by them cheap to drive, fix & buy the perfect car for someone on a budget! I swear if he was still single and had a crappy job he'd still be cruising in one, of course he's a mini van dad now!

My first Hyundai was a 2001 Elantra. I bought a second Elantra in 2006 for my wife, that she still drives with less than 50K miles on the clock. I just traded my 01 for a 13 Elantra GLS. Why? Very simply, I drove my 01 for 11 years and 206,000 miles! Hyundai and my dealer always took good care of me for all those years and miles. Oil changes every 7K miles, and the engine ran like a champ right to the day I traded it. I grew so attached to it, that I almost couldn't give it up. So, maybe I've become an H4L after all.

I remember the days of the Hyundai Pony , i was around 5,6 years old ,and the school superintendent had one , station wagon edition , a yellow one , good times.

Now to the topic , I used to be a stubborn Hyundai hater with passion , i used to say i will never ever buy a Hyundai , that was many years ago until one day that i was looking for a car , i accidentally came across with this beautiful off lease one owner 1999 accent GSI ,apple red ,fully loaded at that time and last production year edition , I bought it right on the spot ,by the way never broke down till i traded in on a 2008 Elantra ,the accent had 214000 kms .

Then the 2008 Elantra ( moonlight blue ) , was a terrific car , very reliable and solid , after 72000 kms just couldn't resist the temptation and traded in for the 2012 which i love and wanted so bad , so most likely i will get another Hyundai .

My first Elantra was the 2010 model after my 1998 Camry had broke down and the cost of repairs didn't justify keeping it around any longer. I originally looked at Subaru Impreza but the monthly payments for the lease were too high for me at the time. The Elantra had all the features I wanted and I got a good deal on it. For the two years I had it, I had no problems with it at all with only the usual wear and tear that comes with time.

When the lease ended, I knew that I was going to get the 2012 model and I did. I don't have any regrets. Will my next car be an Elantra? If the next model they release will have a similar engine as the veloster turbo then yes. If not, I might look else where in the Hyundai brand or another company.

My first Hyundai, I was a F4L b4. I'll buy another Hyundai if this one last many years without repairs.

Me too! I swore up, down, left, AND right. Hyundai what? Kia who? Not I! If it wasn't Honda or Toyota, I couldn't be bothered.

But there comes a time in everyone's life when they must step outside of their comfort zone....
