Absolutely correct, Holly! I'm with you on the Ford Probe reincarnation. Some items from the past are better off left back there! The Probe is just such an item.

You offended me , I had a 1992 Ford Probe for 8 years, never broke. It had a futuristic look for the time. Mine was Calipso Green. It was my very first brand new car. In the above pic yes it's a Delorian, there is one in my city, last summer it was parked in a street near my house and I looked at it inside and out I love those cars, they still look futuristic.

There's a Delorian about 20 feet away from me right now. I work in an office with a window looking out into a warehouse where it sits, under a car tarp though. Probably to keep fingerprints off all the shiny stainless steel (at least it looks like stainless steel) on it. Got to sit in it once but I've never seen it actually move.

Wow, yes, you are correct - those cars ARE actually covered in stainless steel. One of the many unusual things about them.

They are still made here in Houston (Humble).

The car's body shell is stainless steel so no rust and if you scuff it just break out a brillo pad to shine it up.

Mine did that too but since I installed a Viper alarm I have a different keyfob so I just leave my lights on and they turn off automatically after a min or two. I like seeing all my lights on when I remote start my car at night.

Most likely the '14 will have some slight tweaks when the refresh model comes out. As for the vents I actually like how they are right now, they look good and function well for me.

Those are the DRLs that you can't turn off. The DRLs on the corolla are the low beams at "low" power. Low = 80%? So, it does seem that they won't shut off, but you actually did shut them off, just the lows as DRLs didn't shut off.

Mine doesn't have an auto option on the stalk, just off, parking, on. I leave mine in the off position 100% and at night my lights automatically turn on. Or on/off if going through a dark-ish tunnel during the day. But I agree, the 100% off would be nice. So I modified my e-brake wire connection. But now I have to manually turn on/off my lights.

you're talking about the 03-08 (9thgen Corolla) that have the low beams as DRL's on 'low' power. for the 09+ (10thgen Corolla) DRL's moved to the high beams of the car. Both generations don't have an 'auto' option on the stalk but both have 'auto' lights except for 2012s, Toyota discontinued the autolights for those models to the present model. I disabled the autolights on my '10 by disconnecting the auto sensor so I only have DRL's (highbeam) and can control the low beams/fogs whenever I want without them automatically turning on.

Thanks for that bit of info! That website is awesome, and I checked out the page with the ones for sale! *drool* An electric Delorean would be my dream come true!
