So, I have been offered to trade in my Elantra for a 2013 Elantra or 2013 Sonata or 2013 Veloster. I was told that my monthly payments would stay the same as they are now. Not sure what I should do...

I understand the financial aspect and everything, I am just trying to understand if its worth it. There aren't a lot of changes between 2012 and 2013 Elantras. I sat inside a GLS Sonata once before and got a "meh" feeling. The Veloster could be fun if they offered the turbo version... I might as well skip this offer and wait until my lease ends.

I would only trade if one of the other cars better suits your needs, or projected needs a while from now. Trading like for like seems wasteful to me since not much at all has changed between the model years.
You have been "offered" to trade in because, the dealer will make money off your trade in(you will lose money). You could trade in anytime, anywhere...that is your decision, this isn't a special offer that you have to act now on or miss out, dealer isn't doing you any favor here. The dealer has more to gain than you do in this deal!
