My dealer is quoting me $759 for 4 Evergreen Tires and Rims including taxes and installation. Anybody have any experience with these tires? I cannot find any info on these other than they are from China.

820$ doesn't sound like a bargain. On TireTrends.com You can get 15" the Conti Extreme Winter Contact for around 550$ tax-in shipped... Add the wheels that won't cost 300$ more...

As a Vermonter, I was concerned before buying our Elantra GT that it could take "minus sizing" for the snow wheel and tire combination. I bought from Tire Rack. They had already tested fitment and I had them installed here two days ago. No problem with 195/65-15. Also remember that minus sizing can give you better snow performance as narrower higher profile tires apply more pounds per square inch to the pavement...though handling will lose a bit. This is with the standard suspension. I don't know if bigger brakes come with the handling upgrad so double check that.

I am concerned about purchasing Evergreen tires, as I have always had Nordic Winter from Crappy Tire and have never had any problems. I would rather pay a bit more than to gamble with a cheap solution.
