Nice pics, enjoy the new ride.
After reading this thread I'm just glad that people can post that upon further review they might not be that happy with their Elantra and have decided to part with it without being raked over the coals. I posted about my mileage disappointments on the other thread but I won't be selling. For one I can't afford it and even if I could I don't think with the mpg being my only issue at the moment that it would make sense. |

Nice Lancer, I love the hood and dual exhaust and the agressive grill a lot, the roofline isn't as sporty as the Elantra but it's a nice car. I fell in love with the look of the Lancer when it first came out in 2008.

Ok so you keep trying to justify your purchase of the Nissan Leaf but let's looks at that for a second. First off the Leaf is one big eyesore, just as bad as the Prius is not worse. You may tell everyone otherwise but the majority of folks will agree on this. Second, give if another 12-18 months and then let's see how happy you are. When your driving range drops to more then half I am almost certain you won't be bragging about it. Most Leaf owners have found this to be an issue and Nissan hasn't done a dam thing about it thus far (unlike Hyundai). Maybe I am wrong but here in Phoenix this is the case and they say its from the hot summer heat, thus earning the nickname "Nissan Leak". And what good is any car at that price worth if you can't drive very far without losing power and it pooping out on the side of the road. At least the Chevrolet Volt has a small gas powered motor that will get you home once your battery life is gone. With that said I am happy with the Elantra as I did not buy it with the high expectations you would have when buying a BMW or a Mercades. Thus far the Leaf is being called a flop and I am yet to hear anything that makes me think otherwise...
