Oof. Does it really get that bad? Maybe when I move, I'll do public transit and save my car for summer months. Sheesh. Or maybe by then, I'll have a Tesla Model S!

yea it does and last winter when first actually started keeping track my lowest was 22.mpg with extreme cold(-30 to -40 temps for week straight) and was roughly 75%city 25% highway driving

But than again I didn't have winters so I may get better than that as wont be slipping and spinning tires nearly as much(maybe 1-2mpg better perhaps)

I needed a jack hammer a week ago, everything was covered in a thick layer of super smooth ice.

I have to keep looking up this stuff: "Nippigon nylons, toque, etc." I'm receiving a great cultural education on here. Anyway, I bought Ingrid a "fairly sturdy-looking" ice scraper yesterday morning at one of the Black Friday big box super stores...AFTER all that door buster nonsense had died down to a mild rumble. Remnants of "stuff" was everywhere: in the aisles, shoved in and on the wrong shelves. Ridiculous.

Along with the ice scrpaer, I also got two free donuts and coffee for my efforts. That more than satisfied me. Doesn't take a lot to please this old fat boy at my age!
