Default iPhone 5 - music and Bluetooth

So I noticed music doesn't play automatically when connected like some cars (Mazda 3) Also I can't seem to answer calls or make calls through the Bluetooth system. Lastly the lightning USB connection doesn't work with the car to play music or charge the phone. Are there any solutions to this? Especially one cable that can charge and play music at the same time?

Thanks

if you go to the hyundai website they sell and ipod cable that allows you to charge your phone and play music at the same time for $50.

The lightning connector is not compatible without our cars. You might be able to charge, but you won't get music or data thought it. The new connector is all digital where the old 30 pin connector was analog. (I think I'm right on this one)

As far as not being able to answer or make calls... my iphone 5 works just fine with my HSH with base audio. Maybe you should remove the phone from the radio setup and repair it. Also "forget this device" from the phone and start from scratch.

My iPhone 5 works perfectly with the Bluetooth, just like my iPhone 4 did.

There is a Hyundai specific cable, but you'll need to purchase the adapter (from Apple) since you have an iPhone 5. Just google hyundai iPod cable and it will come up. Don't spend more than $15 dollars on the cable! If so, you're overpaying.

With the Bluetooth, I would suggest deleting the connections and trying again.

When you do finally get your Elantra Coupe, either get the dealer to throw the cable in for free, or purchase it elsewhere. $50 is a rip off.

Does anyone know if using the iPod AUX/USB cable with the apple 30 pin lightning adapter will allow the Elantra to play music, display the music, and charge the iphone 5? And also control music through the steering wheel?

I pick up the lightning to30-pin adapter with the 0.2m cable version and it works perfectly with the aux cable. Steering wheel controls, music display and charging works. Costly solution though.

If your radio is the updated model (elantra Audio 3.0 ImageUploadedByAG Free1352360984.364275.jpg) then the apple 30 pin cable will work (then add the lightning adapter) However I haven't heard anyone with the new radio try to use the lightning cable and see if it works the same.

I have a 2013 elantra without navigation. How come my dash doesn't look like that? I purchased in Canada - do we have different dashboards?
