Default Cloth Tan Seats Stain Removing Methods

All,

I am new to the forums and was unable to find something related to this. If there is another thread please point me there.

I own a 2011 Elantra with Tan cloth seats and they stain very easily even with just water. I was wondering if anyone has a good method to clean the seats. What sort of cleaning solution did you use? Please let me know as I have 2 young children and they could use a good cleaning.

Thanks,

Win

I used resolve carpet cleaning spray on my gray seats, never had an issue with the stuff on any fabric type but try on a section of the seat you cant see first to make sure it doesn't mess up the color or stain.

I use "Turtle Wax Oxy Power Out Carpet Cleaner". Works great on my grey cloth seats.

I've noticed even on the newer seats at the dealership that the tan seats just seem to show every little stain. I would avoid that color interior if possible.

Isn't the Elantra seats 'yes essentials' like the Sonatas, ie: stain proof

Not sure anything is stain "proof." Possibly stain "resistant!" I'm not certain my leather seats are "proof."

I've got grease stains on my grey interior. I used Tuff Stuff and it seemed to work okay. Might invest in some turtle wax though...
