you're lucky to live in such a nice climate, I'd trade your 71F for my -20F anytime LOL but when I see on TV many parts of the US destroyed each year by Tornadoes, Hurricanes and earthquakes I tell myself: in Canada we only have to endure 4 months of winter per year, not too bad.

I had my share of your weather when I was living in southern New Hampshire and I used to make trips to Montreal, Quebec all the time.
So I do know how cold it can be. One word I always use to describe it: brutal.

Just for the record...

I almost got to test my GT's handling when a VW Bug and a truck chose the middle lane at the same time. The VW swerved back, I don't think the truck knew what happened. Once upon a time on a crowded CA freeway I shared a lane for about a mile until one of us had a place to go. We had a bit more than a lane between us, as the cars on both sides were accomodating, as if it happened every day. Here, I don't think that would work.

Yeah, that's why I usually change lane very slowly, I'm just afraid of that kind of situation.

I'm about 90% certain that wouldn't work here, either. Staying within that theme, I AM 100% certain that I don't want to be a participant in that scenario, either!

That kind of driving won't even get a sideways glance to the freaks that drive here in LA. Add the requisite rain and it's bumper car time.

Cool you know we don't live in Igloos or log cabins in the wood yeah about the cold, we always survive and enjoy spring, summer, fall and then winter again

Took a client home last night after a workshop (I'm not really that nice. Don't get excited.) and she was so taken aback at the state of my interior. "Este es un Hyundai?! Mira que nice! Y esta bien limpia y huele bien tambien!"

Good to know I'm not the only one still smelling that new car smell. Whee!
