I have a Motorola Defy smart phone and I'm curious if it can be charged via the USB port. I know I had to load special drivers for it to charge on my desktop, so that's why I'm unsure.

Thanks.

Maybe not, don't think it was intended, but hey bring it in to the dealer and try it out!

Both of our Android phones charge just fine (Samsugn and HTC). If your phone will charge off other usb stuff like a printer or your cable tv box then it will charge in the car. If not there are 2 lighter jacks for regular car chargers.
