Hey all. Just got mine a few hours ago! 2013 Elantra. White exterior, black interior.


^Still on the lot right after I signed the papers.

I do have a few questions. I have the sunroof wind deflector and the rear bumper applique installed on the car. How easy are these to take off? Is the deflector drilled into the roof? Will the applique leave a mark on the bumper when removed?

Why do you want to remove your sunroof wind deflector and rear bumper aplique? I've noticed some dealers put these on their cars. Mine did not come with any such thing.

Haha Thanks! Had to get it super clean to get that top dollar trade-in value!

As for the Elantra, I suppose its personal preference. I think the car looks much sleeker/nicer without the sunroof wind deflector. The rear bumper applique has lettering in it (http://i.imgur.com/0mXWx.jpg) which I'm not a fan of. I plan to debadge the rear (but keep the 'H') and I think having that applique still on would look weird.

The applique prevents scratches and I think it looks nice. Its just a sticker though so should be no problem to remove with a heat gun.
