Has anyone removed the headlights to install brighter low beams? I removed the bolts like the manual said , however I cannot pull out the headlight. I am not sure how much pressure to apply and I am a little hesitant since it is a new car.

Have you taken these out yourself? I see there are clips in pdf holding the light in place. I just don't want to damage these.

No, I have not, but it seems pretty self explanatory that you have to pull it out of the clips. As the note claims "Take care that holding clip (A) is not to be damaged." is a indicator that it is a tight gripping clip that may break. If they do break the dealer will have to order you the part and I would get spares being that this is an asinine procedure to change a light bulb.

Why remove it to change the bulb ?

If you put HIDs okay you'll need to remove them but if you just change the bulbs, don't have to.

Just unscrew the dustcap and unplug it. Remove the metal stopper and pull out the bulb.

Each bulb is easy ti reach w/o remove the lights.

I did remove them to install some hid and make some modifications to the wiring. To remove them, unscrew the 3 screws, just pull UP a little, the two pins will 'pop' and you'll be able to take it out compeltely. Be carefull to not scratch the front corner. It's really tight there. Remove it slowly.

I do not have the PDF saved either, but perhaps the beginning of this video can be of some help. It shows exactly how to remove the housing, as well as get access to and remove the bulb

Thanks for the warm welcome

I did look in the manual but it only talked about removing the three bolts..

I watched:

This gave me a sense of what needs to be done, but I was hoping to see a diagram of the clips or pieces under the headlights so I don't break them

This company sells the best replacement bulbs you can buy. Their website is pretty lame and maybe a little confusing, but it's a reputable company based the United States PLUS - EXTRA LIFE H1 / H4 / H7 / H11

Also, here's a good article the company wrote about why you shouldn't do what that guy in the previous poster's video did (retrofitting HID bulbs)... HID Kits: What You Need To Know
