Default nitrogen tires

so when I got my 2013 sonata 2.0t limited they said my tires had nitrogen in them, do all sonatas or limiteds come with nitrogen in their tires?

Cars with nitrogen filled tires would most likely have a green rubber ring around the stem or a green cap indicating nitrogen. My 2011 Limited does not have either of these, so I'm going to say not a stock feature.

Now that's interesting.
Plain air is 70% nitrogen already.
How do you figure that the "air" inside would be harmful to the rim if the air OUTSIDE wouldn't be ??
Hint: it isn't.

I agree 100% with Easy. I can't see much benefit changing to nitro.

Seems to be a dealership specific feature. Mine came with Nitrogen but I have no plans of keeping it that way if I ever need to top them off or refill them. It doesn't make much different since normal "Air" is mostly nitrogen anyway.

...and nothing but the truth, so help me God.

Dealerships would do it, but is not a submodel specific thing. If you see green, it was filled with nitrogen. You can continue to refill with air, if you wish. Don't never pay for nitrogen, but if it was free, then it's fine.

the dealership gave me this packet that allows me to register for nitrogen tires and there are many locations around my area I can go to get free nitrogen refills so luckily I wouldn't have to pay for the nitrogen refill. but im happy to hear that it wouldn't matter whether or not I refilled with air or nitrogen.

Nitrogen doesn't fluctuate volume(pressure) like air does with temperature. In less temperate climates (most of the US) the nitrogen prevents the TPMS light from being thrown when it gets cold.

My 2011 came with nitrogen and a 1 year free subscription to NitroFill. After a year I didn't renew.
There was a thread on this site about nitrogen and there were differences of opinions about it. I think some dealers provide it and others don't - I think it's a marketing issue and doesn't really make a big difference on our cars.
