I am curious as to whether anyone has added an aftermarket X-Brace or Stabilizer bar to their car and what if any difference have they noticed. I notice when throwing the car into a turn on uneven pavement that there is a, for lack of better words, weird feeling toward the rear of the car almost as if something shifted and then settled in. This is completely predictable when it is going to happen but just makes me a little uneasy when cornering hard. Just wondering if anyone else had noticed and if any of the braces or stabilizers could help this.

Yes, I and others are using them. They are (IMO) one of the first mods you should do to your car. on ramps are a 60+ mph thrill ride if you've got one.
NOTE: do NOT get a hinged one. get a solid bar. I've got the Nameless SFTB and it is by far the best piece I've added to the car.

I have been trolling this forum for a while and I took everyone's advice into consideration as my first modification. I actually ordered the nameless SFTB last week but haven't received it yet to comment on it. But what I am feeling is at the rear of the vehicle, do you think that the SFTB will make any difference in that area of the vehicle? My thought was that maybe a stiffer rear stabilizer bar or maybe the X-Brace from Shark could possibly be of benefit. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I like just the feel from the front bar. There is a lower control arm brace that seem like it would be benneficial, but I believe on the US models, there's a "black box" in the way.
Shark racing has a thicker rear sway bar that would be a good upgrade for a little more control but I really haven't seen the need for anything on SE other than the stabilizer bar. Adding too much "extra" can be a bad thing for performance as well.

Here is an older thread from the NA side. There are both positive opinions and skepticism laced through it. I think both mods are money well spent.

I would suggest doing a little reseach on what sway bars and stut bars do to a cars handling, especially in FWD cars. These are used extensively in racing and do the opposite of what most buyers think they do.

I have the Luxon solid brace as well as the X-Brace from SR. I don't feel much difference to the car's handling, granted I have not pushed it to its limits.
Reading the comment above, I am thinking if $$$ were wasted for these 2 items. These braces are heavy so there is extra weight added to the car. Can someone elaborate why adding such devices to a FWD car would have an adverse impact? |

I know the major difference I felt with the front strut bar was taking a curve and hitting a pothole/bridge/bump in the road. I no longer feel like the car will "bounce" off the road. Outside of that I never notice. I drive the speed limit everywhere. It was well worth 100 bucks for the Ultra Racing one.
