no time this past weekend to test lights...doing a remodel on family room, kitchen and powder room before we bring home the baby. Will try this weekend.

If I can save you some money....crack is cheaper than powder and you don't need a room for that.

If I could only find these lights for my 2011 2.0 T. I would be very happy.

I like them better than 2012 Sonata OEM lights listed by the OP.

Anybody knows of similar lights for our cars anywhere?

^^^ does it mean that these fogs wont accomodate 2011-2013 front bumper? And like you said, " your brother will be getting you a new bumper? " ... Hmmm.

This comes direct from HMA (Hyundai Motor America)...

HMA will not be getting the new KDM (Korean Domestic Market) front fog light design. The KDM specs do not meet U.S. requirements for fog light height as they sit too low due to the LED strip. To incorporate the new design, the front bumper on YFa would have to be redesigned and re-tested by NHTSA, which doesn't make sense for a lifecycle of only one model year
