How do you make a phone call via BT?

Do you have to first turn on the audio power? I don't listen to music when I drive. And it doesn't seem to respond to the voice command button with the audio power off.

I've been having the same issue since i got the car last year, but I just ignored it! Wishing someone call answer that for us.

You may have to have the system on - if you don't want music, turn on either the phone or map function to see if that works. If it doesn. you can then turn off the display if you don't want to see anything on the screen.

I don't have NAV. When I push the power button the radio comes on (AM FM or XM).
Even when I push phone button the radio doesn't stop.

Sorry, I don't think most systems work without the main headunit being on.

Put the car in Aux Mode. As long as the phone is paired with the phone you shouldn't hear anything that doesn't come out of your phone.

When someone calls me even if the head unit is off the system will turn on. The voice activation button should have the same effect when I press it.
