My '11 did and it was noticeably harsh, but I'm thinking a TSB/reflash cleared it up. There's still a little, yet not much.

I suppose one could sling the stick to manual whilst in a high gear and that might prevent the early downshift. However, you'd probably need to swing it back to auto before applying gas.

I was having tranny issues so I took it in. I'm getting the temp sensor and wiring harness replaced. Had an error code pop up.

I'm having this issue as well on a 2012 Sonata Limited.

I've brought it into the dealer twice now and they refuse to work with me. They won't call Hyundai. There are no error codes so they just want me out.

It's kind of driving me nuts...

very noticable in my 2012 as well. Very harsh downshift around 30 with eco on or off. This worries me when the roads start getting icy.
