and Garage Door opener. I asked the salesperson yesterday when he called in to check how things were going if there is any way to register your garage door so that you don't have to attach your garage door opener to the visor. Even my 4 year old Honda Odyssey has this feature. IMO if it is not possible with Bluelink I think that they took away a very useful feature for the masses to add some bells and whistles that will suite very few.

So when I picked up my new car even the salesperson was not 100% up to speed about exactly how much it cost and I have not even signed up for it yet. I think that you can get it free for up to one year if you register with credit card but honestly I don't think there is anything worth more than $10.00 per year for what I need. I have the navigation system and could see how if you did not it might be useful for navigation but otherwise seems like a ton of useless features.

Let me know what your thoughts on the garage door opener and Bluelink.

There should be three buttons on the right hand side of the rear view mirror that can be programmed to open up to three separate garage doors or gates.

Other than that the Blue Link system was a bit rushed to market and is not fully tweaked yet.

I just checked. No buttons on side of mirror. I think that this may have only been on HOMELINK not Bluelink. You had my hopes up.

The GLS/SE models have the base BlueLink mirror -- no Homelink buttons. The Limited models (or ones ordered with the Homelink mirror as an option) have the three Homelink buttons to the right side of the mirror.

You can order a BlueLink mirror with the HomeLink buttons -- but I imagine those will be $3-400 from the Dealer. Good news is it should be a direct fit.

I have the base BlueLink mirror, and didn't want to wait (or pay) for the Homelink mirror. I tied my remote to the power window switches -- so now when I want to open a garage door I just lift up on the appropriate rear window switch. I did a writeup HERE

No need to worry, they're Homelink. Canada doesn't get the Bluelink.
