Default whiter 'looking' driving/headlights

I know I'll get some flack for this, but I hate the contrast between the LED front accent and the definitely old fashioned (yellow beam) headlights. I can't believe HID's were not included with the unique lighting treatment on the hybrid basic or at least a part of the premium package. Has anyone found an aftermarket replacement that significantly improves the look, has some life expendency, and isn't 'blue'? ( I know there are numerous replacement bulbs, ie; silver star ultras-which I've tried with little improvement) thanks...

HID kit from Xenonsupply. Get the 4300K which is whiter OEM HID light. I got the 6000K which is just a tinge too much blue for my liking. Will be switching bulbs shortly to the 4300K.

Here are before and after pics.

Default Xenosupply Order Question

Eric1R,
Thanks for the before and after pics.

Question,
Did you also order the Premium Ballast, Slim Ballast, or the Relay Harness ??

Since the battery is in the trunk on the HSH is the power connection made at the battery "jump" point under in the engine compartment ??

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

I ordered the premium ballast and the relay. There's a battery lead that goes into the fuse box on the drivers side fender - the copper colored one on the left. Powered the relay from that - wire grommet fits perfectly.

if you don't want to mess with hid, install sylvania silverstars, it will be whiter and brighter than oem bulbs. the downside is that you will have to replace them more often.

Thanks to all.........I really don't want to go the full HID route....in a previous AUDI, with regular projector beams, I was able to go to a 5800-6000k bulb (XENON GAS Filled?) with great results and a 12-18 mo life, just can't remember the mfg. I just tried Silver Star 'Ultras" with little or no improvement

Hey great stuff. You guys should check out HOEN bulbs too and see whats available (maybe for the foglights)

I had a set of XENON MATCH for my C6 Corvettes fog lights. Matched the OEM xenon headlights PERFECTLY and there were inexpensive too.

Hoen high performance halogen

Eric, did you ever make the switch to 4300K? Was there any issues with beam alignment with the install?

Haven't switched yet, still have the 6000K bulbs. No issues the beam alignment. Those Hyundai projectors are really precise with a sharp cut-off.
