Default Used the TMK, Can I get another bottle of sealant or need to get a Brand new one ?

Well good thing was that it's a small nail hole, the nail problably flew off when I was doing 65, I heard some "clunk" sound then about 10-20 seconds later the TMPS light came on.

Lucky that the TMK kit actually works, it's pretty simple to use (duh)

got to the tire place (living in City is great sometimes), opened the tire and woo, the goo looks like milk and after tons of wiping, found the hole and patch it. the tire guy was like we hate repair kits cuz sometimes if it's seal up really good, it will be hard to locate the puncture. ok. u found it this time.

after the incident I already bought a used Hybrid wheel + Jack and tools set on Ebay so I probably don't need the TMK anymore. but it might not be a bad thing to have for my other cars. at least it doesn't fuxk up ur TPMS for sure.

but now the sealant is used so the kit becomes useless unless I can get another one of those "bottle" of sealant. Anybody know if it's possible to just "buy" the sealant from Hyundai? if someone has the part number to it or the TMK kit. hope it does not cost an arm and leg

Thx

Have you called your dealer yet for a price? You can also use slime quick spair or fix a flat from a local auto parts store. Its basically the same stuff and might be cheaper.

I found the part number for the sealant and compressor already.

the sealant cost like 30 something bux! woo. no thx. I think I rather just buy some slime quick fix like u said or just go ebay and get another kit ...

I was thinking to use it in my other cars, but at that price. I think carrying a spare tire + gloves might be a better option.

Wow $30+ for a can of sealant is quite a bit when slime product is under $10. I found a used spare cheap but I have the sealant in the trunk too just in case.

The sealant is more like $65. I found a guy on ebay selling the sealant and compressor new for $35 shipped. I bought one as I could not find the sealant by itself anywhere.

We replace the sealant seperately all the time, mainly because it has an expiration date. Its good for 5 years I believe but would have to verify to be certain and it appears to be the exact same system we use where I work.

I don't think you can use regular "slime" in these tires without damaging the air pressure sensor. I know of issues with slime ruining those sensors.

I have used a few types of aftermarket reseal products.

Although expensive the dealer goop is probably superior.
