Sure you can but I frankly would wait to at least 3,750 miles which is the first change under severe service. Some say the rings set in better if you leave the orginal oil in vs. changing it out early. If you could put your location in your profile, it would help understand your operating environment. If you are in a cold climate, an early change to synthetic would be good. I changed mine to Pennzoil Platinum 5W20 at 3,750 miles. -20F here tonight. Use a Hyundai filter in any case.

Yep, you can no problem. I run Pennzoil Platinum 5W-20 (full synthetic) with an OEM Hyundai filter.

^ agreed. I'm running the same thing in my '11 2.4 with almost 60,000 miles on it. I run 5W-30 in the warmer months. To the OP; Being in San diego you might consider it too, it's rarely cold there, and often pretty warm to hot.

Also, be careful of LED bulbs on eBay. I bought some for my fogs which don't fit. Turns out the circuitry was a little too big. It may not be an issue for the bulbs you are looking at (as they are a different style bulb than I purchased), but at least check the return policy to make sure a non-fitting bulb won't end up being your problem, not theirs. |
