Question tips for installing factory led dome light

I got the factory led dome light from shark, installed the front with no problems, but am having issues with the rear.

I have the pano roof, anybody knows how to get the rear dome light out?

Here's what I got

I have the same kit, all you have to do is very carefully pry the clear lens out one at a time. Then you will see on screw I believe, might be two. Unscrew the housing so you can dis connect it then just swap the bulbs. Just became full removing the lens the tabs are very small and you can snap them if you pry to hard. Good luck!

thx for the tip, there was a screw under each cover, once i got those out, the dome light came out.

here's the problem however, the new housing that goes in has those black clips on top thats supposed to secure on the roof, but there's no way to secure them.


I got the housing connected but now its just kinda wiggling around up there. I might just use some clear silicone around the edges to secure it in place

You need to remove the covers from the new light as well, remove the screws, and those black clips will come off, then put the light in the hole, reinstall the screws, and reinstall the covers.
