new car warranty

Well I was on the highway going home and the chrome runner on top the fender is part of the warranty.

If not where can I get it, from because my dealer can't find it.

FYI when I had my 2011, the deler had to replace to replace the same thing. It was totally loose!

this is some BULL went to the dealer told them the part just flew off on the highway.... They said they cant do anything becuase i dont have to part that few off..... then wtf is the new car warranty for i mean really .and they want 125 for the part .

For all they know, it got damaged when someone tried to breal in, which would not be covered. You may have taken it off yourself, to get another one, so you can paint that one. Just looking at it from their point of view. Most new car warranties are hit and miss on these types of things. The whole "bumper-to-bumper warranty does not cover bumpers" thing. Going to have to buy the part.

when does something like trim fall off with the car is parked ... becuase if you had the part in hand whats to stop them from just pulling it back on with glue and when it flies off again your hosed. they know that plastic part cost them nothing but got to make a buck everywhere and on everyone. I'm just going to head to the junkyard on this one.
