Default Answer Phone Call via Steering Wheel?

Not a huge issue BUT -- WHO can Answer Phone Calls with the Steering Wheel "Phone-off-Hook" Button (I have NAV but wonder if that matters for the function issue?)

I have Very Rare successes after 2-3 Presses ea time and have Always Pressed the "Accept" on the Nav Screen. With No Incoming Call the Button DOES Give the Phone Screen (Dial Pad, Contacts key, etc) after one Press and Call History after 2 Presses. The new 4.0 Android (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS Improved Mot Atrix 2/car BT Connection to 99.5% Success no matter when the Phone's BT is activated - but NOT this issue.

Any experiences that suggest a Fix? On last 8 months of 3-Yr warranty - which I hope covers this. Many Thanks!

On my Elantra I think I press the green button to answer. Does that work for you?

I have the same issue. It works whenever I sit in my driveway testing it, but on the road the steering wheel button does not answer, I have to use the button on the nav screen. Minor issue for me since I almost never use the phone.

+1

There was one time where my previous phone stopped working this way. Deleted the phone, re-paired it, and all functionality was restored.

I dont have the nav, but I have the button on the wheel and I dont have issues answering the phone, only hanging up. Sometimes the call gets "stuck" and it will say im still connected even if the person hung up and im not on a call.

Default Related question about 'Phone Button'

I've been looking at the 'Phone' button near the radio and wondering if pressing that would answer an incoming call. Does anyone know? It might be easier than trying to find the middle steering wheel button, especially while turning...

I haven't had any problems answering my bluetooth connected iPhone 5 with the steering wheel button. I have a '13 GLS, no nav.
