Default Request for carfax report

Hi,
If someone has unlimited carfax account, can you please check VIN 5NPEB4AC7BH164920.

My car was totalled in hurricane Sandy and I'm looking for this Hyundai Sonata. Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for quick reply, highly appreciated.
It says rear collision and I checked photos. No signs of collision are visible. Does anyone have experience of buying such vehicle and will it be risky bet?

I'll ofcourse check it and drive it before buying. THanks for help guys.

The way they described it I was under the impression of the car impacting the rear of another vehicle.

If you are able to see the car in person, open the trunk and move the floor mat and side wall liners. open the hood and look for different shades of the paint color as well as unpainted nuts and bolts. Request an under car inspection. Have them put it on a lift and do a visual inspection with a flashlight and look for any unusual bends and wrinkles.

You can ask a body shop if they do visual inspections of used cars and how much they charge and maybe have an experienced person do a visual check over.

CarFax is a nice tool, but its not really that accurate. They can only compile what has been reported. Body shops and insurance companies dont always report or not as much as they could. I had 2 explorers and they have been hit by hurricanes, rear ended and once I rear ended my daughters car. A total of around 5 or 6 incidents and nothing showed up on carfax.
Carfax can tell you something has happened but wont give you the full extent or total cost of repairs. I tend to shy away from used cars as much as possible, especially since cars have a uni body, their frame cant be straightened like on an SUV or Truck.

All anybody has to do is email or call the dealer with the car that you are interested in and ask them for the carfax. They will print it up and email or fax it to you like that for FREE, no questions asked. They want to sell you the car so getting you that carfax for free is a big thing for them. No need to pay $5, no need to go to the dealer and act like you want the car that bad.

CAR FAX typically not worth paper it printed on..

RULE #1 --> ALWAYS have vehicle inspected at facility of your choosing,, not theirs,, may be the best $75-100 used car inspect you purchase

To obtain a reliable vehicle report, you need to spend a few bucks. Here's a coupon code I use. Pay only $4.99 using this link : VinAudit.com - Carfax Report Alternative. NMVTIS Vehicle History. Instant VIN Check.
