Does anyone have the lifeproof case with their iPhone 5? I want to know if I have the lifeproof case on my phone, will the Lightning to regular iPod 30 pin connector work? (The small one that's not a cord) I'd rather not have the cord one, since i will need to plug it into the OEM Hyundai iPod cord I already have. Everything I've read on the other thread here iPhone 5 and 2011 Hyundai Sonata
seems to say that my 2011 SE non-NAVI will need to use the OEM cord to work correctly w/ iphone 5. |

The adapter will not fit on any case that does not have a complete opening in the bottom. Like this.
![]() Take this case for example. Even with the two small slots next to the port prevents the adapter to work. ![]() I've tried the longer 30 pin adapter and that doesn't work either. |

i don't think that's right because lots of people have told me they had to get the cord one since the non-cord adapter didn't work with their otterbox or whatever. Does anyone that actually has the Lifeproof case know for sure? I don't need others to answer that don't have this case.

FYI, It looks like the adapter will work on an OtterBox defender. I don't have the adapter, but the opening is plenty wide enough. The only trouble I can see, in any case is that the adapter will cover the speakers somewhat… Something to think about.
