Low Tire Pressure Question...

Any way to tell if the factory put nitrogen in my car? It was built on 3/20/12.

I get a flashing TPMS light every couple mos, not related to tire pressure AFAIK.

In theory, when they put nitrogen in your tires. they're supposed to put green caps on the valve stems but I wouldn't bet money this is always done.

My dealer puts nitrogen in all the tires of his new cars. They install a valve stem cap that is green on the end.

AFAIK The factory does not add nitrogen. Just get a tire gauge and mini air compressor. Every car owner should have these items.

My dealer replaced the air in my tires with nitrogen when I bought my car.
I have blue caps on my valve stems.
When I was down on air I decided it wasn't worth it to drive almost 20 mile round trip to get nitrogen, and just dragged out my air compressor and filled up my tires at home.
I don't know of any places that offer free nitrogen unless you buy tires from them.
