Millennium Hyundai on Franklin avenue in garden city.
Before I get slammed for what I paid, I needed a car desperately and with so many cars totaled I don't think your gonna get the great deal u want.
Oh yeah. I got it loaded. Navi, backup cam, the works.
Loving the car so far.
Yeah, Glenn, there are indeed a lot of people who live thousands of miles from you, with 10 dealers nearby, overstocked with vehicles, blah blah blah, who will tell you that you got ripped off. You made the best deal you could make, given your circumstances, so be happy with it. What anybody else tells you about the price is too late to help now, anyway.

Enjoy your new ride! Glad you are back on the road again.

I agree.

Geographically prices vary in each state and city. It boils down to how many cars are in stock and how each model is in demand as well as how many or few dealers there are to compare and negotiate with.
I got a GLS with nav package and trim, I paid more for mine than Merf paid for his SE, He lives near Orlando and I live in Miami. The only way to come close to telling if anyone gets a good deal is to compare prices with others in the same local.

In the end what really matters is how you yourself feel about it. Whats important is that you got what you want and are happy with it.

So I will probably take what I get from allstate and go back to hyundai. I've been wanting the turbo sonata since it came out and now's my chance. I think the only mods I will do this time are hids, tint and of course the led cupholder lights. I really loved my car and I did so much too it that I feel like I lost a family member. But we move on to bigger and better things. Later guys.
So I went and picked up a 2012 Sonata the following Monday at Enterprise in Elmhurst. I got a great deal on a low miles sonata and they transferred the factory warranty. $16750 out the door.

I like the car. Plenty of power and a nice interior. A **** site nicer than my 07 Chrysler.

I am from the ROCK my friend. I'll have to watch for you now. We have the same car just different colors.
Sorry for your loss as well. Rockaway will be back but it is gonna be a long time before it's back to normal.

Thanks, I picked it up from Long Island City Hyundai on Northern Blvd. They matched the $750 Sandy incentive since I didn't qualify for any other incentives. I couldn't get the $1,000 competitive because my Maxima was registered in my mothers name (cheaper insurance). The sticker price was $28,810. and I got it the car for $25,500 OTD. I wanted an SE with turbo and nav, but apparently they are hard to come by right now according to the salesman, but obviously he was trying to sell me something he had in stock. Basically it was either turbo or nav in either trim. There was a silver one they had coming in 2 weeks but I wanted black or harbor gray. They told me they can do a dealer swap but I'd get a better price if I took something they had in stock.

Compared to the 2007 Maxima I had, its tough to say. The Nissan had a much better ride, and felt a little more solid but I drive to Manhattan everyday from the Rockaways and sitting in traffic I was averaging 15-16mpg with my 19" wheels, and on top of that if I didn't get premium gas the car ran like $hit. The CVT tranny sucks major balls, there was no WOT lol. I wanted something good on gas and fun to drive. The Maxima was fully loaded so little bullshit things like heated steering wheel, power folding mirrors, reverse tilt down mirrors, and power passenger seat kind of spoiled me. Kind of dissapointed that the Limited Sonata doesn't have power folding mirrors, but I will have to live with it.
