Right, mute/turn off... as long as it shuts up the radio.

NO WAY! That's cool.

Thanks for the tip, didn't know that! The Sonata just keeps getting cooler and cooler.

Nice, but not enough for me to want to trade mine in. Only thing I wish mine had that the '12s and '13s have is HD Radio and rear-view camera.

I find the HD radio to be quite annoying. It gets very loud, then gets soft, then gets really loud when picking up signal. When it does that, I switch to XM and don't experience that issue.

I live in an urban metropolitan area, and maintain a strong signal for most of my driving area. I've found AM stations on HD are noticeably clearer in the other cars I've driven with the feature. Not really a "must-have" but a nice to have.

Default Much Obliged!

Thanks for posting these photos of the 2014 Sonata. I was seriously considering trading in my 2009 Sonata for a 2013 this year, but will hold off until the 2014 models are rolled out.

I never did really like the way the 2010-2013 model years sloped at the back and at the front. Makes the car look kind of "wimpy" if that makes sense. In fact, I was also considering going back to the Kia Optima, which is what I had before 2009, because the Optima isn't sculpted like a dolphin. It's profile is more formidable, but the interior isn't a plush as Sonata.

By seeing these 2014 Sonata photos, my decision has been made so much easier. It has the muscular bulk and the two chrome tailpipes, just like my 2009 Sonata Ltd., and with all the most modern touches and features as well. Thanks again to the person who cared enough to share them with his Sonata family!

Cheers,
-Allen in Chicago

I really don't see that much difference. It looks like a model "refresh", more than a whole new platform. As for the dual tailpipes, the SE has that, and it DOES look sweet. Even my wife, who is not exactly a car nut, noticed how much better it looked with that!
