I had done these on my last car, and just got a new set for my new car. Wish I had pulled the trim panel and switch as I can't seem to get anyone to sell it to me. I have already sat down and figured out which wire does what on the new mirrors, and will do a full write up with pictures when I install them, but I have to get the switch and the panel, and a few parts from my local dealer. Also on the stock configuration of the mirrors, they only fold when you press the button, but I have found a module that will fold them when you lock the car, and unfold them when you unlock the car. If any one has a lead on where to get the switch and switch panel let me know.

Here's a link for the switch and panel but I'm sure the panel is the short one that wont fit US models.

If the switch plate is the problem why can't we just order the US version (or use the original plate) and carefully trim out the extra space needed for the folding mirror switch? Dremel tools are great for that.
Auto Parts - Parts.com, For Every Part of Your Life Part #17 is the plate and they range from 10 to 21 dollars CHiSEEN - Did you ever get a reply from Shark Racing about the Gray Panel? "93572-3S060 - Black Panel from Shark Racing Here is the part number for the black panel. I don't know the part number for any other colors but I just asked shark racing for 93572-3S060 in gray" |

I have one on order from the eBay guy, it is in LA and should be here soon I hope. The panel and the switch are all I am waiting on. I also found a module that should make the mirrors fold when the doors lock, and unfold when they are unlocked. My only worry is that they will fold when the doors autolock when you drive, but I will see.
To the guys that have this as a factory option, do the mirrors fold when the car is off, or only when it is running? |
