Default keys in trunk

Locked the keys to a 2011 sonota in trunk. Locksmith got side door open but trunk will not open with button inside. Any suggestions. Other set of keys 1500 miles away!

The lock switch must be in the key only postion on the trunk. Gonna have to have the key lock picked, or break the back seat.

The seat releases are inside the trunk.
If the inside button release doesn't work, you might have flipped the lever on the trunk lock that disables the remote unlock and allows access only with the key.
It's also possible the button only works when the car has been unlocked with the remote, but I'm not sure about that. You may need to find a dealer nearby and have a spare key cut by the VIN.

edit- I was too slow, above reply was posted while I was typing.

This isn't what you want to hear... but I'm guessing it might be faster just have the spare overnighted

sounds like you need your keys over nighted 1500 miles away via fed ex, if the locksmith got the doors open, you can remove your rear dash, remove your 8" sub if you have one in the rear dash and reach in to pull the seat lever, if you dont have a sub, remove the plastic sub insert or punch a hole in it to reach the seat release

it scares me how after installing a sterieo system that took 3 hours you realize you can steal it in under 5 min

there is a trunk release button. if you could find a thin sturdy pole of some sort and stick it between the seats, you may be able to pop the trunk... unless your trunk is full of stuff

Like said above, Fedex overnight would be a cheap alternative.

Is there someone that can get to your other keys?
