Hello M2K,
Thanks for posting. If you permit, may I suggest you something? When you're posting your observations or opinions, make sure you are understood clearly. Your short posting didn't leave much room for arguments and this is why you got that feedback I feel. As you can see, many of our customers are very happy with their units and perception of people intent may vary from one person to another. Regardless of the thread warm-up, indirectly your brought a point on the table. Even if many of the aftermarket systems have the same software platform ,IGO for instance, it doesn't mean the final integration will be the same. Let me explain; as a manufacturer, once the software platform is chosen, you’re closing the deal with the options you want and the customization needed. Once the software approved, IGO is proceeding with the final stamping (software and maps). If your product has several years of life, good chances that map software and maps are still the same stamping version as when it was released to the market. So for a brand new product, you might have very old maps to start with. Part of the options we’re buying from the software manufacturer, one is a cost saving for the end user. This option is called Latest Maps Guarantee. Once the customer gets his system, he has 30 days to download the latest maps free of charge (value of $90.00). Right now they are Q3, 2012. The above option, along with other options, is left to the discretion of the customer (Compass-NAV or others) and to cheapen the package, some might leave those options aside. Another important factor is the maps provider. IGO uses NAVTEQ maps for North America and we have to live with their map accuracy. NAVTEQ is the only one to have control over that however customers can report map problems on their site. If any other questions feel free to ask and let’s chill ![]() Happy New Year everyone! If your system is set to have the TRIP screen in MINI mode,
When a call comes in, the mini trip window will pop-up over the nav screen (at the bottom) automatically few seconds showing the caller ID then will hide by itself. User don't need to do anything. Regards,

Just in case you missed the part where I said NOTHING PERSONAL, I'll re state it, and yes, there are such things as trolls that join forums to either promote or badmouth, so yes, it does make a difference if someone has been a member for 100 years or one hour. You will learn that though once you get more time using this thing called the Internet

M2k:
I think you make a good point, and you are right to do your research and share your findings with the rest of us. I have been on the lookout for a system lijevthis for about nine months, I have looked at other options including chinese and korean cheaper units, however, I have found my way back to this unit fir two reasons, one, there is not a single bad review and as you found out, the users cant praise enough the system and the support given by Charles, two, this is more than a gps, it is anentertainnent center that puts to shame Hyundai'sown system. Niw, aall I need is to gather all the money afterall I do gave a family to Feed. Cheers Sent from my SGH-T999 using AutoGuide.Com Free App |

Flame,
I saw awhile ago it looked like you installed a different camera into the Hyundai trunk panel with a pre-cut hole for the camera. How easy was it to relocated the trunk release? and are you happy with the camera and panel? I plan on doing this install very shortly. Thanks for the help. |

You're right. I can't justify either. I really don't need entertainment system. Wife wants GPS for ease of use. I'm happy with my portable Garmins. That's why I did not get $2500 dealer option, though it came with panaromc sunroof.
