Wow.. That's some increase in mpg.. What were you getting with the sonata?
I ended up getting a g37 6spd. No tracking issues, better low end, and much better feedback/handling. I average ~20-22 mpg combined. Rear passenger space is less, as is the trunk, but it is a smaller car (length wise). I knew going into it that fuel would be more given the larger engine. |

Even though the Cruze has way less horsepower, I'm not feeling much difference in performance. The G37 is a really nice upgrade over the Sonata. Good luck. |

I have 30,00kms 2012 Sonata GL and took it into the dealership with a hard right pull. They said nay nay nothing wrong. I threatened dealer to take vehicle to a specialist and send them the invoice if i find one imperfection.
They caved and sent tech in vehicle. First was like oh the road is bad oh this road is bad. I said funny that lets give your road crown theory a try. I swerved into oncoming highway lane and looked at him so I assume since the crown of the road should be on the left this time so the car should pull left right. With a scared look in the techs eyes I said watch this let go of the wheel and the car immediately pulled back onto normal lane (almost into the ditch after crossing 4 lanes of traffic. I said your theory is invalid and this is not normal. Dealer ordered some camber bolts and fixed hard right pull. I now however have a slight equal road crown or imperfection wandering issue. FML. Called into dealership again they now want to compare similar models and kms prol to avoid further repair... To me, sounds like they want to throw this off as still being normal. Fortunately for them I have an ace and family member in another hyundai dealership. Should be interesting to see what their mechnics honestly think if I dont get any satisfaction... Any solutions? |

it should be under warranty. don't be like me and think hyundai's stellar warranty will cover it. take it in as soon as possible. the warranty for adjustments, which dealerships take to deal with any pulling issues, is 1 year and 12,000 miles. after the time limit is up, you have to pay for everything.

I have a 2011 and it pulls. I have complained about it. I have 19k miles on it. I paid for an alignment and it still didnt fix it. They told me its because of the tires, the way they have worn its pulling. I told them they did the maintenance and rotation.. they should have fixed it sooner if they saw the tires wearing..
No sympathy from the dealer. |

check out this post from the YF turbo section sticky. Pulling Problem i suggest calling hyundai customer care and speaking with any supervisor other than Brad. that guy is a severe douchebag. explain to the supervisor your issue and point to the article in the above link. explain how you paid for an alignment and it didn't fix it, like in the car and driver article. he or she should escalate it to a case manager. i don't know if this will fix your car; hyundai seems to be fumbling in the dark not knowing what to do to fix it. |
