I have a small chip on my hood im trying to get as close to perfect as possible, and these paint pens are completely useless. its impossible to really build up any paint with them or get it into a small area. Does anyone know where I can get the old nail polish cointainer like touch up paints for our cars?

I hate them too for obvious reason.

Go to your local automotive paint store and buy the smallest amount of paint you can and get a brush too. It shouldn't cost more than 20-30 bucks, I would sell you some but i'm sure you're nowhere near me.

I passed on the pens and got the pen/brush combo from my dealer. Sales guy said the thin pens are total crap. I agree. The bottle I got has a pen but also has a very nice brush inside.

I have the pen. I use a toothpick to apply the paint. Works great for small areas!

Yep - I was going to suggest the toothpick as well - just make sure you don't have a paint 'ball' at the ip, that sucker will spread - better off dabbing it a few times

Think it depends on the color. If it's a color shared with other Hyundai models the 2 in 1 will most likely be available. But if it's a specific color your stuck with the pens. I've been to all 4 dealers looking for touchup paint with no luck. Had to order one one, harbour grey is very popular for touchup paint.
