Thumbs up

I took a picture of my HID bulb since i'm still waiting on the relay harnesses I ordered and didn't get...
...So can anybody show me exactly what i have to do? I have a Dremel tool. Am i supposed to make the bottom just like the top, as far as cutting the round edge square but leaving the center notch? Am i going to be removing the metal from the areas i colored red (green arrows are pointing to)? See picture.

Yes. You are supposed to make the bottom just like the top so that the wire is at the 6 o'clock position.

so it doesn't matter that the opposite side has a ridge and this side after modification will not?

No. It won't matter for our application. On some headlamps, it would. Not ours.

better and quicker is just to cut straight across.
ok maybe not better but it sure was quicker.

dremmel with a cutoff wheel works best.
