Does anyone know if a blind spot warning system be installed? We have 2011 Limited. My wife is short and has some difficulty with the side view mirrors. When we were shopping for new vehicles, we saw some cars with this feature.

I'd consider a custom installation.

thanks!

Blind spot mirrors won't do the trick?

I'm nearly six feet tall and I no longer can safely drive any car without putting the small round stick on blind spot mirrors. I've gotten so use to them I can't do without them. I never have to look over my shoulder to change lanes. I can see anything transitioning from the rear view mirror to the blind spot mirror.

I'm not sure if they would work for your wife but if she cannot see the blind spots without a sensor, I would be nervous to just depend on a sensor. Once the sensor goes off you still need to see what is in your way.

..
Sure why not, the big rigs use them or some sort of side view cameras.

No... I did a quick Google search for that pic. It's from a Ford Mustang. The shape of the side mirrors do look pretty similar though.

I did also come across these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-05-Hyund...7#ht_4165wt_952

They're for the '02-05 Sonata, but should only be a matter of time before they come up w/ something like this for the 2011s
