I remember there used to be a technical DIY with how to make these. Was this the original thread for it? Or am I thinking of a different one?

This is the original thread but I have since revised the design and made improvements a few times and now the kits are available for purchase. Thanks!

Ordered my set today, can't wait to put them in. They are going to go well with all my blue interior LEDs I put in.

Just placed my order for these as well. Looking forward to the installation of my first mod!

One quick question though... Has anyone found which wires to tap to get these LED's to adjust with the dimmer for the rest of the accessory lights? I'd very much like that functionality!

Ordered mine last week and got them in a few days. Haven't installed yet but I can't wait until I do! Quality of the build is great. Thanks again!

Finally got around to installing the cupholder lights and man they are as nice as I remember. Thanks accentglow for a great mod.
I invested in the side wire strippers that you use in the video and must say it makes the install so much easier.

The overall build quality, adhesives used, light output. Overall it is a sturdier product

I am going to order a set of these, they look great but I have a question. I know when I put a cup in there by the time I take it out there's a pretty good puddle of water from the condensation off the cup. Does this cause a problem, will it mess up the LED's over time?

Thank you! No the condensation will not mess up the lights. The LEDs are waterproof and some members put a dab of silicone into the hole drilled to completely seal the cup holder compartment again. Thanks!
