I would have thought Not. You only have this and the next service to keep the five year warranty valid, so can't see the point in buying 3 or 4 year main dealer service plans at this stage.

Good point, but what about the 10 year anti perforation warranty?

The Hyundai site stipulates:

"To ensure continued warranty validity, body inspections must be carried out by an authorised Hyundai Dealer at 12, 36 and 60 month intervals from the date of first registration of the vehicle. The inspections must be carried out within 30 days either side of these dates in order to maintain this warranty."

Hyundai | Anti-perforation warranty

So does this mean inspections cease at 60 months or they need to be done every two years until the 12 year anti perforation warranty runs out? Yes I thought it was 10 years too but perhaps they changed it to 12 years when the facelift and triple care came out.

You could always trade it in for the next gen i10 out in 12 months ish.

According to my Anti-perforation warranty booklet, "Body Services" at 12- 36- 60 -84 -108 months

Next gen i10 out in 12 months, yes I often look online to see how things are developing, I will certainly be checking it out.

Just had our 3rd service done at 24000 miles today (16th Jan 2013) for £125 by J&J Motors of Skewen in South Wales (UK). 2nd service, a year ago, was £225 and the 1st service was £130. Hope you find this helpful.
